Ethical Recording and Consent

Fyl and the Service allows individuals to record conversations with professionals, advisors, and experts.

Legal Compliance: Users are responsible for ensuring that any recording of a conversation complies with local and national laws regarding audio recording and consent.

Professional Courtesy: While Fyl is designed to capture advice and instructions from professionals (e.g., architects), users should be transparent to these professionals about the use of the App.

Third-Party Privacy: Users must respect the privacy and dignity of all individuals captured in recordings.

Prohibited Activities

You must not (and you must not to allow anyone to) use or access the App or the Service for any medical or financial advice or any unlawful or improper purpose, or in breach of the Acceptable Use Policy and the Terms. For example, you must not use or access the App or Service:

in any manner inconsistent with the Acceptable Use Policy and the Terms;

in breach of any applicable law;

for any unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purpose or effect;

for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm children in any way;

to promote illegal activity or violence;

in any way that infringes the legal rights (including the privacy or intellectual property rights) of any other person;

to deceive any person, to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person;

to send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with this Acceptable Use Policy of the Terms;

to transmit or procure the sending of, content or material, or in any other way, that is defamatory, racist, sexist, discriminatory, hateful, obscene, offensive or otherwise objectionable to us, our staff, or any other individuals;

to intentionally falsify project reflections or summaries for the purpose of defrauding institutions, such as insurance providers or government agencies;

to transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form or similar solicitation (‘spam’); or

to harvest or collect any information or data from the App or our systems or attempt to decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running our services.

Restrictions

You must not (and you must not to allow anyone to):

use the App or Service in any way that could damage, compromise, overburden, disable or impair the App or Service, anyone’s server, systems or networks, or that could interfere with any other person;

use any automatic or manual device, program, algorithm or methodology, or any similar process on any part of the App or Service;

attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or Service, any part or feature of the App or Service, or any servers, equipment, software, systems or networks associated with the App;

use the App or Service to obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available to you;

rent, lease, sub-license, loan, provide, or otherwise make available, the App or Service in any form, in whole or in part to any person, unless we agree in writing in advance;

reproduce, reverse-engineer, disassemble, de-compile, duplicate, copy, re-sell or create derivative works from the whole or any part of the App or Service nor attempt to do any such things in violation of these Terms;

translate, merge, adapt, vary, alter or modify, the whole or any part of the App or Service, or allow the App or Service or any part of it to be combined with, or become incorporated in, any other programs; or

by hacking into or inserting malicious code, such as viruses, or harmful data, into the App or Service, or any other network or system.

Changes

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App or Service following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Acceptable Use Policy.
